After the first song I realized this was one of the tightest bands I've ever seen. There was a little something for everyone in this show, and the band clearly looked like they were having the time of their lives. Darren's fingers flew over that fiddle's neck with incredible speed and precision...and his obviously competent back-up band had no problem keeping up with him. That was an amazing concert last night. I know you must be very proud of Darren. All of them were such talented people and everyone was talking about how good it was. Everyone (even Darren) was smiling and they were truly enjoying themselves which made it all the better. I have seen many concerts like the Blue Rodeo and they have them beat by a mile. Every song was excellent and you didn't want the evening to end. The variety of music should have appealed to everyone. I am so glad they will be performing again next year.

Prior to seeing Darren Walters and The Hott Band, it would've been safe to say that my friends and I weren't huge country music fans. We saw the show after hearing rave reviews and we are so glad we did. They had a Hip Hop crowd wanting more..awesome performance!! We can't wait to see them again.
